Isn't this divergent of technologies similar to that of Ubuntu GNOME using GDM, and Stock Ubuntu implementing Lightdm? Would not the same apply to Mir and Wayland? I suppose Mir/Wayland is a much lower level/fundamental technology, and may cause some incompatibilities with future applications if t
