Ξεκινά ξανά το Ubuntu Global Jam για 27-29 Αυγούστου.
Στο Ubuntu Global Jam μέλη των τοπικών κοινοτήτων μαζεύονται για να προσφέρουν
έργο στη διανομή τους.
Παλαιότερα είχαμε φθάσει προσφορά τοποθεσία για να το οργανώσουμε, ωστόσο
δεν υπήρξε οργανωτής για να καθοδηγήσει το έργο.
Ας δοκιμάσουμε ξανά.
Τι θέλει ένα Ubuntu Global Jam;
1. Συγκεντρωνόμαστε σε κοινό χώρο (π.χ. εργαστήριο) ενώ κάποια άτομα
μπορούν να συμμετέχουν
και μέσω IRC.
2. Επιλέγουμε μια θεματική ενότητα για να εργαστούμε. Τυπικές
θεματικές ενότητες είναι
α. Εκμάθηση επίλυσης αναφορών σφαλμάτων (bug reports) στο launchpad.net
β. Εκμάθηση δημιουργίας πακέτων .deb
γ. Εκμάθηση διαδικασίας μεταφράσεων + πιθανή μετάφραση πακέτου
δ. Δημιουργία τεκμηρίωσης για σημαντικά θέματα (π.χ. στο wiki)
ε. Δοκιμή εγκατάστασης προεκδόσεων Ubuntu σε υπολογιστές
στ. Βοήθεια αναβάθμισης υπολογιστών των μελών σε νεώτερο έκδοση
(τώρα Ubuntu 10.04).
3. Αναλαμβάνει κάποιος ως οργανωτής
Ας κάνουμε την πρώτη μας συμμετοχή στο Ubuntu Global Jam με μέλη Ubuntu-gr.

it's time again for one of the key LoCo events this year. The Ubuntu
Global Jam! From 27th to 29th of August teams are going to meet locally
