I'm having a similar problem. My applet show empty, and empty trash is
greyed out, but they are actually items in the trash folder. I've
included an attachment with a screen shot. I have never used the delete
key to empty my trash. I've tried logging out and logging back in, but
that didn't work.
The attached patch is extracted from CVS for wxwidgets2.8. It provides
for safe processing of Unicode GECOS entries.

I was looking into other apps and I found that gqcam also gets the red and blue
mixed.
The solution in gqcam is using the --swap command on run which swaps RGB to BGR
I assume that aMSN's capture software detects this automatically.

I managed to boot and have feisty working and upgraded, though I had to turn
off usb controller in bios. I think I can blacklist something, but will check
first upgrades.
One minor problem is that I am not using my usb mouse and keyboard. So it seems
wireless device on the mobo is the culprit
The trouble is specific with these type HP machines and sata. Not using
the sata cotroller and using an ide drive works for me.

The real audio 8 and G2 Sample clips with only voice data worked, but
not the clips with background sound. Terminal had a command saying

Can you provide some more details of the problem? The module was
definitely included in the 2.6.17 kernels built for Edgy (I used it
almost every day).
As for deprecation, it seems that this module has since been upgraded to
the v4l2 API for the kernel included in feisty (2.6.20).

The menu item doesn't fix the problem. As I said before, the moment you
switch to a static IP configuration using network-admin (I even went to
the menu item added), and NM automatically shows that the connection is
disconnected, and liferea/gaim/epiphany goes into offline mode.

OK. Here is a workaround for amarok. Again, beware: I'm not sure what
the implications of making this change are; it may well do Bad Things to
your system in some way. But since you're running feisty anyway, I guess
