Same error on Xubuntu Hardy with dbus-x11 already installed. It was
installed already and restarting X and trying again did not let f-spot
launch correctly. Performing the manual launch with 'dbus-launch
f-spot' does work however.

I think I found another problem related to this bug.
If the missing nfs mount uses quota, the quota command will not know it at all.
If I want to know my quota limits on that nfs mount I have no way unless I
manually remount it.
I was wondering if there are other programs that would be affected

For those of you who are struggling with this I can confirm that the winfast
DTV1000T remote (serial no Y0400052) can be made to work reliably with gutsy
(7.10). The two issues that need to be tackled are
1- Fix the cx88 module by Updating to the latest V4L driver
2 - recompile kernel with timer
I just tested it with Hardy Alpha 4 (64 bits) and it gives the same error.
Could it be a kernel compilation parameter problem? do I have to compile the
kernel on my own?

Now the problem is when I resume from hibernate.
When I close the lid it hibernates fine, but on resume, no application seems to
respond. Every application hangs at startup and I have to quit them forcely.

I'm currently using Hardy with the latest GStreamer, which includes the
fix in the upstream bugreport AFAIK. It seems that it was fixed mostly,
but not completely.
I'm dual-booting with Ubuntu Hardy and Windows XP. On Windows XP I use
CCCP - http://www.cccp-project.net/ - with Media Player

Well, after a few minutes of use, it seems to happen on installed system as
well as in live CD with alpha 4.
I just got a freeze and I had to disable powernowd daemon.

Confirmed, here is a quick way to reproduce:
(1) Create a temporary folder (henceforth folder A) and put some files in it
that can be deleted (ie you dont care about.)
(2) Create another temporary folder which I will refer to as folder B. Within
folder B create a symlink to folder A.
(3) Move

My notebook LCD is only capable of 1024*768.
I did not consciously changed this file before.
I tried to boot with /etc/usplash.conf
So, a few new things... I did now install also alpha4 - the setup was
fine with the alternate cd but after the boot it stopped at the cd-drive
(had to ctrl-alt-del for continuing boot process)... because of a
recommendation I did now dmesg after the boot and I got that:

I have a similar problem on my MSI PR200.
The new here is that it resets the brightness after i change it from
the keyboard. After it resets it the brightness control is not working
(except from keyboard) and the Set display brightness to in Power
Management is resetted to this new value as well.

When you right click on the rhythmox icon which is open in the top edge pannel
