isn't available on the broken boot, and I have no way of getting the
dmesg output out of the computer because I can't access my disks or

I got it working under Hardy by downloading the newest source from the
IET website.
I extracted iscsitarget.tar.bz2 in /usr/src and replaced the kernel
and include directory with the directories in the latest version from
the IET website.
This is how i did it:
apt-get install iscsitarget-source
or grep it for particular strings
anything to do with sd, ata or scsi might help.

Well i went ahead and installed gvfs-mount from the package gvfs-bin,
and from the command line it seems to mount:

And for my i386 machine, removing the gdm.conf-custom file does not work

I have a Cowon iAudioF2 generic portable music player. Under Gutsy
Gibbon with Amarok 1.4.8, the device worked fine and Amarok was able to
configure and sync playlists to the player. After installing Hardy
Heron, Amarok no longer is able to configure the

This was indeed a configuration issue. The cups server did not have a
ServerName directive (it has multiple interfaces).

Final Report from the Buggee (Bug 211174)
After this morning's Ubuntu/Adobe update, Firefox
video and sound is working well. Also, for the first
time the System-Preferences-Sound tests work on this
PC (Dell Dim 4650). Once I installed the Pulseaudio
driver, Firefox used either Gnash or Flash
Since this package is in universe, new upstream versions need to be
ack'ed by motu-release. I subscribed them.

Today I did a clean install of Ubuntu 8.04 Beta and upgraded to the latest
version and I'm still having an issue with jockey and the broadcom driver.

Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could
test with it so we can work
