I agree with tskytta, latest evo updates (05/30/2008) do not fix

Why is this low? Its a showstopper for Ubuntu-installations that uses an

Sorry, but I was unable to reproduce the crash, as I reinstalled the
test server. I suspect this to be linked in some kind with tap:aio.
Maybe I forget to blacklist in domU or dom0, the first time. IO seems to
be really slower than with file on an older kernel.

I have the same problem, I run ATI 9600XT card, was on ati 8.4 drivers and
kernel 2.6.24-16-386. During upgrade to 2.6.24-17 2 nights ago I noticed a
message indicating an inability to add the fglrx module to the kernel, and on
reboot was able to log in but end up at white screen.
I used the

Nevertheless there is little chance this applies to me.
My disk is always connected alone as a master disk to a single master cable 3.5
to 2.5 inch(my disk is a laptop disk in a desktop computer). I enclose the pic
of the cable.

I'm sharing a folder from a windows98 vmware guest and am automounting the
folder, using cifs, via fstab on the host.
mounting is fine, without any error messages, but I can only acces directories.
