/var/run is a temporary read-write filesystem and is mounted by
S01mountkernfs.sh very early on in the boot process. fsck can still
write to /var/run even though the root filesystem is read-only, so I
very much doubt that is the issue here. Bare in mind that the default

Impossible to install python2.4-minimal (upgrade gutsy hardy)
It seems the hang may be an issue with gnome-keyring as if I hit
Control + C in the console while evolution is sitting there doing
nothing it gets the following messages until it finally gives up and
then evolution continues per normal. I will continue running to see

I have a pop, an imap and an exchange mailbox. My understanding is
that exchange is stupid and makes the user scan all the files server
side and locally to see if there is mail so maybe it's scanning across
all mail. Other problematic things that I do are to never delete
email from the server or

When playing a video none of the compiz effects display correctly. When
the video is scaled, opacified, distorted, or shadowed over ugly static
black or blue is displayed where

keep the edgy theme in usplash sources when the ubuntu default theme is
already included? If yes, Is it possible for you to tell me how to
translate 0x* values to the right ones so I can create a correct branch
for intrepid?
Even with the quirks set correctly, if /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/20video isn't
updated to react on it.

You start out by saying that b43 does work, and end by saying that it needs to
be fixed?
Thanks for the info, though. I guess it will be nice if the switch actually
works, because my Dell computer does have a switch for the wi-fi.
I have b43 and ssb blacklisted, so the dmesg command gives me
801 - 900 of 1268 matches
