/lib/modules/$(uname -s)/rtl8185 in consideration and acts on it.
Message 'Supported by ubuntu team' seems a location based message. And we put
our modules in /lib/modules...

something to do with the modules used. I found out that I have to try
several times, until the stick is initialized. The difference in dmesg

I can confirm this bug. It still affects me exactly as you described
with 2.6.27.1.
Your workaround worked for me, after I compiled 2.6.27.1 with
CONFIG_MAC80211_DEBUGFS turned off the lockups went away. My hardware is
an iwl3945-based Lenovo T60p.

@Trond Thorbjørnsen - I was just about to recommend checking your X
conf, because now, that kernel packages are patched, theres no reason
for the static conf to not work.

Oxygen, the default theme, uses transparency for the sliders (and
apparently status bars as well, so this issue is most likely caused by
your driver not being able to handle this incredible new technology of
transparency :P

Maybe it tries the different Firmware in cald-state. You definetly ONLY
need that firmware, which i told you where to get. Remove the af9015fw,
maybe its for the wrong model of Digivox mini II. Remember it is
available in V2.0 and V3.0, and there are two different Wikis with
different Firmwares

Copying many files always take a lot of time. What makes you think this is
caused by a bug?
U-disk is a pendrive? JFS is not Ubuntu default, it's not likely it'll get much
attention here.
