Ok I have had this issue, I tried both sudo apt-get remove --purge
flashplugin-nonfree and without the --purge option, and then re-
installed didn't work, tried purging again deleted the .deb file from
/var/cache/apt/archive folder, and then tried sudo apt-get install

I have to add my vote here, because this is a big thing for me. Pop-up/under
windows are something we were fighting with until 2-3 years ago - please don't
bring them back in any form.

I am also running an EEE PC 900a 4gb model and I'm facing similar
troubles. I tried loading up EasyPeasy 1.0 to try and find what the
difference between the drivers in Jaunty vs the custom 8.10 and it
seems that before I was using Synaptics drivers versus the elantech
drivers.

I'd like to confirm this bug. I also have a Dell Mini 910. I'm using a
Jaunty Remix that I setup on the basis of the current Ubuntu-Mid
2009-04-18 edition. (to get better battery life cause it's lpia
optimized) I also tested this behaviour on the regular Jaunty Remix live
system. It works fine as
