I am not quite sure how to proceed. I can confirm the issue is the use of
deprecated classes. Running alarm-clock using Python 2.5 on Jaunty resolves the
issue with alarm-clock. Having 2.5 installed along-side 2.6 broke all kinds of

I can confirm that it should be an gnome/nautilus bug. I am working now
with Intrepid and the 180-nvidia driver, it totally works! I had the
described bug with this driver under Jackalope.

software for many Ubuntu users,

Forgive me, may be because it is my ignorance but I uninstalled
libpoppler-glib4 and it automatically removed gimp inkscape and tracker tool.
So I installed it again but the problem remained. But it is interesting that my
tracker tool had also problems probably it is because od that libpoppler.
now fixed by two uploads

we disabled shiretoko support intentionally. We will enable it in a SRU
once i have nailed down the reaons why it breaks parts of ffox 3.5
(which is why we didnt enable it in jaunty).

does it work better when starting thunderbird with -safe-mode? If so,
can you try to disable just FireTray extension in tools - addons dialog
and see if that helps?

The export option is Ubuntu-specific and only used as a private
interface between dmsetup and udev - there's no reason for it to be
publicly documented

When do we get the language-pack updates? The .desktop-files are still
untranslated (I use the German language pack), but they were translated
before all translation strings were removed in the .desktop files.

Thunderbird does not start when second display is missing
Caused by an incorrect entry in
/usr/share/hal/fdi/preprobe/10osvendor/20-libgphoto2.fdi installed by
libgphoto2.
The USB product ID used by Sansa e200 running in UMS/MSC mode, both by
Rockbox as well as original firmware is 0x7421. The PID for MTP mode is
0x7420.
The fdi file lists both PIDs
