I have follow the advise of Carl to adjust the /etc/init/ebox.dhcp3.conf file.
It works now.
I don;t adjust the apparmor part due to the fact that I have remove that
package just to be sure that it was not the bootleneck.

Long time ago i played with mapnik build from source.
And probably python-mapnik module come from there...
Can't try preform update again, because after reboot my system says is is

I looked a bit closer than before and saw that the openal packages in karmic
(and lucid) come from the openal-soft (not openal) package.
Lucid has newer ones, so a next step could be to try how blender 2.5 behaves
under lucid.

You mention an important issue with genisoimage. Genisoimage does
not implement correct UTF-8 support. What's in genisoimage is just
a bad hack as only 50% of the places that need UTF-8 support have
been addressed and even these parts have bugs. The original
mkisofs includes complete and correct

Just installed ubuntu on this HP laptop. Wifi wasnt working (device not
ready). Opened Hardware drivers and tried activating the non-free drivers for
the broadcom wifi.
Rebooted. Clicked on network manager icon...wifi no longer said device not
ready. Instead, it was

start blender with default scene (i.e. no ~/.B25.blend file)
- within seconds one of my two cores flatlines at 100% blender use

If I try to install this package it has dependencies on octave3.0 but I
want to use 3.2.3. If I install it it works with 3.0 but not in 3.2.3.
Octaveforge says the package should be compatible with 3.2.3.

If outputs 1 2 are OK then probably all you need to do is modify the
via-ice1712.conf (or whatever you called it) file. Take a look at the
Pulseaudio bug linked-to in #35 - there are files attached there for a
multi-output card that you should be able to modify to get yourself up
and going.

I monitored remote machine with ksysguard (via custom-command ssh)
When the machine got offline, the tree with list of sensors/hosts was
drawn incorrectly.
After clicking a bit on that tree I got it to crash:
