Using 'me menu' I set status to 'Invisible' but it displays the 'Busy' icon.

Different searches on the web had let me thought that this issue could be
processor's NX-ability related...
The point for me was that despite my own processor (Intel T1400) does support
NX, /proc/cpuinfo wasn't listing it as a processor feature.
Then

I talked at #telepathy a while ago and they say its something that is not
implemented in telepathy-gabble for gtalk method and requires pretty much
work. in other words invisible dont work for gtalk. note it works for
jabber, yahoo and msn might also work for other protocols, I dont exactly

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I have recently updated to a new mobo while using old hardrives.
One drive has Windows XP/Ubuntu 9.10 on it and are clean installs
2nd drive has been updated to Ubuntu 9.10 and is main O.S.
The login screens do not match.

the password doesn't work at all. That is way it is showing errors in the
/var/log/auth.log file.
It looks as it couldn't write at the login.keyring file.

I am unable to reproduce this with a Lucid Alpha3 live CD and emacs23.

also tried version 2.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1) from the launchpad backports

I think the linked branch will resolve this problem. The only exception
is if there is a named operation that modifies a field you can also
modify directly, like IBug.status. Of course, this is what mutator
methods like transitionToStatus do, but we got rid of those methods in
version 1.0 of the
