You can run
ssh server in ubuntu, putty as windows client
VNC server in ubuntu and any vnc client in windows
No machine server in ubunu and client in windows

I have two hard drives on my pc.By default the partitions need authorization
in karmic.So I planned to disable that.
1-installed pysdm tried all options but hardly succeeded ,then
2-i tried these chown root $(which ntfs-3g)
chmod 4755 $(which ntfs-3g
Everything worked fine
