I'm not convinced this recent problem is related to devkit-disks-probe-
ata-smart (the original bug). I have experienced the recent problem

I also ran into this problem, server is running Ubuntu 9.10,
tightvncserver; was connecting from an HTC Dream using android-vnc-
viewer.

Hi Bryce,
Before the 11th I had not updated for more than a week (was away from
the system for a while) on the Intel laptop. The issue may have been
there for the Intel earlier and I did not notice it. I only picked it up
recently as I was resizing Firefox with many tabs on a large (1900x1080)
After trying numerous workarounds, the only thing that resolved this
problem was reverting xserver-xorg-video-intel back to version 2.8.0-27
via ppa.

I was using UUID because Scott James Remnant wrote in bug 563117 that
this was intentional.
When I change all LVM entries to /dev/mapper other bugs get in the way of
testing. I just did that and also removed all snapshots. What happens then is
that /opt can't be mounted (/dev/mapper/vg0-opt) #
Same issue still here (Thinkpad X200 with Intel 5300 wifi), even with
64-bit kernel from linux-image-2.6.32-21-generic.

I found I was receiving this error message as a result of
'/tmp/mkinitramfs_vcsiO8/scripts/local-top/cryptroot prereqs'. Upgrading
cryptsetup to lucid's version made the error message go away. I didn't
touch apparmour. This leads me to conclude that perhaps the dependency
on cryptsetup ought to be

The F-spot facebook plugin can't login to facebook AUTOMATICALLY.
I mean, I need to login to facebook using firefox (I try opera, but cannot,
other browsers haven't test). Then, the plugin can upload the photo. If i do
not login with firefox, I have the same problem, that it stop at Session
