I did updates, then rebooted into the new kernel. Then, I started firefox and
browsed to the bug report in launchpad, pasted the apport-collect command into
a terminal... there shouldn't be any trace of the old version by then.
Default browser I did not change.

Good news. The temperature stabilised around 64C (used to be 65-68C) with the
current stable kernel version 2.6.32-22-generic and the fun does not run so
often. The threshold seems around 65C for, it takes around 5sec to cool it down
back to 64C sometimes.

Well, blocking the ubuntu repositories and removing navit via apt-get remove
navit and apt-get autoremove did the job.
Just reinstall it, allow the ubuntu rep. again and just don't update navit.

I'm affected by this bug too.
In fact this bug affects everyone who uses .XLS (97, 2000, XP) format.
This is especially true for cells with wrap text option, because the
aspect of the document can be totally changed.
I think this bug is critical or hight, because I've already been called

laelfrog, could you provide a little bit more information about what
sort of wireless setup you have? What is your wireless card and what is
the router? What sort of encryption are you using? Things of that
nature.

There doesn't seem anything special to be necessary to reproduce.
Maybe it's the usage pattern. The computers are usually not running for
more then 2-3 hours at at time, then shut down until next boot.
Konstantin does not get any out of the box notifications of security updates.

after upgrade from UBUNTU 9.04 to UBUNTU 10.04 no function of lm-sensors and
fancontrol. It worked perfectly with 9.04.

Same problem here with a Debian Sid / 2.6.34-1-amd64.
The adapter seems to be in HID mode[1] at boot time, ie wireless
keyboard and mouse are working but in restricted mode (no multimedia
keys, no fn key, etc..).
I tried to play with hid2hci tool with no luck:

After reinstalling Ubuntu Lucid from scratch, suspend and hibernation
work as expected.
Hibernation was not working because I had no swap space, but suspend was
broken by the update.
