Good day
I erase the old linux and download and install the latest Ubuntu with
all the new update today.
Still the same problem with the cpu fan.
I have to hibernate and restart the lap top, so the fan work normally.

I had a similar problem. It turns out QGtkStyle tries to discover the
theme with GConf, found that out by strace'ing qtconfig-qt4.
So I installed gconf-editor to pull in GConf, then it worked. I agree
it's a bug in QGtkStyle - at the very least, it should spit out that it
can't load GConf.

These websites are most likely referring to KOffice1. You may wish to
request this feature at bugs.kde.org, but this is not a packaging bug.
KOffice2 just doesn't support PDF import yet.

After more testing, it appears to be breaking again.
The fact that this kind of change increases the chances of successfully
reading ssh2_exec standard output might give the idea why this happens
to someone in the matter.

The fix is not released for VLC in Lucid.
However, I've tested VLC under Maverick Alpha 1 and there the problem is fixed.
