Both Chris and I tested this. I run 2 loops:

The issue is identifying the fix. We've gone through many iterations of
what looked like fixes for this kernel without any success, and I
haven't seen any duplicate bugs from others encountering this issue.

replacing the uuid in /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume
with the actual swap partition uuid fixed my problem
maybe that happened because I've had 9.10 with 10.04 and then I removed
9.10 and it seems that the swap was not enabled on Lucid and I enabled
it manually. I don't remember what happened

Well I just reporting another freeze (two in a row! :( ). Both times I
was not using my soundcard. I had been using an externel display,
keyboard and mouse when this happened.
I will also note that I am using a patched kernel from the above thread.
I am using the kernel debs provided by #45 and
I tried to try in Maverick alpha 1, but it seems the bluetooth applet
is not working at all (setup new device wizard does not show up). I'll
try again after applying the latest updates.

dvi to pdf, with the pdf open in xpdf or evince, I am getting the error

If this package is so broken, does anybody know why it is still in the
repositories? Is there a person responsible for it, and can we get them
to investigate? It seems that there's no way it could have been

I have reproduced the problem with update-manager 1:0.134.8 and have
verified that the version of update-manager in proposed, 1:0.134.9,
fixes the issue. I do not see any regressions when performing upgrades
or updating packages with the version of update-manager in -proposed.

What you're saying is to show in the applet menu exactly the same list
of tasks that is visible in the taskbrowser
(if a user selects a tag/goes in the workview mode, both the Browser
and the applet show the new set of tasks).
It might be a little bit confusing, but it would be quite handy too.
Please upload the screenshot to a server that isn't password protected.
