Another thing to try is to rename your profile to check if the problem comes
from something in the profile:
- move profile: mv ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla.bak
- start firefox.
- if it changes nothing:
- erase newly created dir: rm -rf .mozilla
- restore profile: mv ~/.mozilla.bak ~/.mozilla

For almost a month I struggle with the following bug/missing feature of the
Ubuntu live cds (100% reproducible for Karmic and Lucid):
- boot from live cd
- create a user with encrypted home:
$ sudo adduser --gecos --encrypt-home testuser
- su to the new user
$ su
After an Wubi installed Karmic 9.10 completely updated shared on 1 hd with
windows xp I upgrade to Lucid just yesterday.
I just answered yes to all the grub updates and after this I can't boot Linux
anymore, I get a Grub prompt.
If anyone can help me out to fix it here is my thread:

I don't see anything else in notify_uninit() which would crash. All
variables are properly zeroed at the beginning, and the code behaves

I can also confirm these issues. The flash 9.x plug-in was still listed
at about:plug-ins, but did not work at all (but I got no crashed
note).
I got Flash working by performing these steps:
1. Purged every flash related package (*flash*, *gnash*, ...)

Hi,
I recently did a fresh re-install of 10.04 (reinstating kernel 2.6.32.22). Of
course this brought back the suspend / USB problem on the LeNovo T410 so I
enabled proposed updates in the Update Manager and kernel 2.6.32.23-generic
is now installed. Suspend / USB is fixed fine!
The issue I

I using hplip from Ubuntu repository - it's build 3.10.2. Somewhere is
PPA with latest hplip? If no, you can registr PPA for latest hplip
builds?

HTML file corrected (.png extension added) attached in .tar format
cd to the en.tar file location
$ tar -xvf en
# chmod -R root:root en
# cp -rv en /usr/share/doc/dia-common/html/en
If there is something wrong with the command, please correct me.
Hopefully, you will have access to the HTML help
Note: Please rename the directory html_corrected in en after
extraction, and before copying the directory to /usr\share/doc/dia-
common/html/en. Sorry about it.
