This is fixed in remmina-gnome 0.8.0-0~ppa4. It's great to be able to
tell which protocol the hosts in the applet list are using, especially
when the same host is serving multiple protocols. Thanks!

The pages where the bug has occurred have all changed since I reported
this bug but I think this wasn't a problem sometime ago when those
pages were still unchanged so I think this isn't a problem any more.

Add init='/sbin/init --verbose' to the linux boot line in grub.
I believe this helps by forcing /sbin/init to serialize starting up
