Boy, how ugly things could get.
I was wrong about X not crashing. It indeed crashes once.
I have here a custom built from latest git trees x server, and it is of course
ubuntu hack free...
So it turns out that plymouth (or whatever the name is) makes X crash, and
ubuntu xserver carries a patch
Cancelled due to finding fix:
add to end of /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf:
options snd-hda-intel model=ideapad
and reboot. Now it works.

it was like I said before.
I've tried much times becouse I use DVD to test iso images, and the destroyed
DVD are unusable in k3b or in cdcreator, simply not detected, and the time that

Sorry, I screw up, I just test it and it was all in english, I set the
charset to 'ansi' instead of 'iso-8859-1'. I tested this one (save the
'.mo' with poedit and overwrite the original) and it work ok, except for
one string in line 134 that isn't translated at all (perhaps because of
the 'º'

FIX Spanish Localization
Alright, I've installed the PPA version, and I think it improves
matters, although after a while, I still hit a situation where
applications weren't accepting mouse input (I could still move and
resize the top window with the mouse). I don't know if that's part of
the same issue, or something
