I have never seen this crash again since that one time. I suppose it was
a race condition between two instances of the daemon running
simultaneously.
It might be safe to close this issue as it appears to only happen if a
gnome session/Xorg crash occurs prior to this.

I can support that observation. It doesn't matter if you put heavy load
on the nfs mounts. All that matters is that the nfs mounts are mounted
via autofs and that you have a timeout to get the system automatically

server. Then when i was reinstalling MySQLServer i got this error

aspectj self-depends on libaspectj-java; this will require a manual
build using the .deb from Debian sid.
I've tested this locally in a clean oneiric sbuild chroot environment +
libaspectj-java_1.6.11+dfsg-2_all.deb and it builds sucessfully

I can switch Workspaces/Dekstops and 2 of the 4 are affected as seen in
the screenshot, the others are even worse.
Unfortunately I have reinstalled Ubuntu (for other reasons) and can only
give information from memory.

Yes, you are right. It also happens when trying to shutdown the machine.
So it seems to be essentially related to unmounting NFS volumes under
certain circumstances. Increasing the autofs unmount timeout simply
reduces the probability of seeing this problem during runtime of the
system.
