After setting firefox to fullscreen mode, it's not able to properly exit
fullscreen mode. Closing it in this mixed state and opening it again
opens it in fullscreen mode, i was only able to get it to work by
deleting my profile.

polygon, is there a corresponding blue triangle next to the app that
issues the request? Would it be to disruptive to move that triangle on
screen even when the launcher is hidden? I think that would show a clear

xserver dosn't have to be down, but running jockey-text from a gnome-terminal
won't trigger the issue.
Press alt+ctrl+f1, type jockey-text and you will see the issue.
Jockey-text is the most useful when you only have a true terminal as an
option, and that is when it will fail you.
