I can confirm this crash. The system monitor shows under waiting
chanel : futex_wait
I have a dual core AMD CPU, if this is important
I tried backtaceing but could not find anything usefull.

Calendar module crash since jaunty update
After searching through the other Evolutino-Bugs I found a work-around
that worked for me:
in the file /home/.evolution/calender/local/systems/calender.ics
I deleted the last vevent which was a recurring event.
Looking at the other posts, recurring events seem to be the reason why
the Evolution
