Confirmed. This kernel makes nouveau work on with the Nvidia 8400 GS and
the stock Ubuntu desktop (with unity dash) after a very long time.

clock tree not
1.97 is a major rewrite of powertop. It doesn't work on ARM anymore
(that the cherrypicks fixed in the older version).
I'd like to figure out a way to rename the older package to powertop-arm
or something like that. And 'apt-get install powertop' DTRT when
installed on x86 (1.97) vs. when

This seems like a kernel packaging issue, not xdeb. kallsyms on my
system is an amd64 binary. It needs to be armel when cross-building.

Binary package hint: xdeb
I was trying to cross-compile the kernel using the command 'xdeb -aarmel
--only-explicit --apt-source linux-linaro-omap'. I am not entirely sure
where the problem lies - toolchain, xdeb or the kernel packaging. Filing
this so it doesn't get lost.
My log is also littered with application crashes all over (evince,
gnome-terminal, eog, gvfs-smb, banshee, etc.) that seem to link back to
libglib. And I am using the Classic desktop since I'm using a nouveau
driver. Should I file separate bugs for each of these?
