Well, i've checked with my pc and it didn't have the same issue.
checking your dmes output i cannot see anything about the webcam but
what i see is some hardware errors on your disk.
maybe that's causing some trouble???

kde 3.5.4 and it didn't worked.
also i've specified openssl path at konqueror crypt config to
/usr/lib/sasl2
but also didn't worked.
i 've got 2 systems where i can reproduce this bug with any kind of smtp

hi i've followed this steps with an encore bluettoth dongle and a treo
650 headset.
It worked fine, i could hear music from xmms for a while but it seems to

i don't quite understand your bug report,
the expected behaviour (please correct me if i wrong)
is that you cannot access the other's user home directories.
if you can access you cannot write on them.
so if you try to create a file on another user's folder you should have
an error message.

have some additional info:
i've managed to apply some pending upgrades on the server, i've upgraded
to latest kernel as today and after restarting the system i've got this
message. i believe it can be the root of the hal problem
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/run # /etc/init.d/dbus start
* Starting
i having this issue i believe this is related somwhow with this bug

to be honest is truly hard to use a system with this trouble.
you cannot easily access cd nor usb pens,
i cannot believe it but mounting like the old days is really boring...

well, because this became a big issue for me and my users i googled a
lot and finally got this solved...
the segfault issue was caused by a previos mod to hald.conf trying to
solve the original issue, after comparing between the bad an sane system
i've managed to found the problem
and after
well, this bug seems to be forgotten, i' m uploading 4 crash logs
so this get some attention

well i've got 3 machines, only one of them doesn't have this problem.
The rest of them has the problem.
any suggestion in how we can compare the systems?
