What is the correct place to define PATH. I have usally defined it in
.bash_profile but this doesnt appear to get called when you start a gnome
session.

I wonder if anyone could suggest a sound card for use with a Edgy
machine. Do they exist as USB connected - give me the flexibility to use
on different machiens without taking apart.
