[Bug 792261] Re: Pitivi 0.14.0 does not start on Lucid

2011-06-05 Thread Blake W
I can confirm this, I'm running KXStudio 10.04.2. I'm not aware of any PPAs providing =2.18, and from my limited experimentation a moment ago, it seems to require an upgrade/compilation of quite a few cairo and pygtk related packages in order to compile the required package. -- You received this

2009-09-12 Thread Blake W
This bug affects me, in the 32bit version of Ubuntu Studio. Haven't tried 64bit. I have a Realtek RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller. I'm too confused by kernel compilation to risk compiling my own. -- system freeze when using network with linux-rt on smp amd64 machines

[Bug 350776] Re: jockey backend crashed when trying to install nvidia driver

2009-04-24 Thread Blake W
I think that what's happened there is that the cd contains the drivers, and ubuntu saw no reason to grab it from the internet... and presumably asked to insert the cd, and then jockey timed out because it was waiting for user intervention that was impossible to give? -- jockey backend crashed
