Start dia, pull up the UML diagram items, create a class. Note that the
comment on the main class window is a bit short - it's still usable, but
it's definately short.
The comment field on the attributes tab is 1-3 pixels tall. Same for
both comment-fields in the Operations

Well, that cron-job was not the culprit, as it just happened again. On
the plus side, I could get a clean, single-user syslog capture for the
entire session (attached). Same situation when the lockup happened -
just random web-browsing with Firefox.

Dunno if this is at all indicative, but the last few times that I've
managed to catch the lock-ups I'm getting, the last line in syslog
before the machine died was:
[date] [machine-name] CRON[PID]: (root) CMD ( [ -x
/usr/lib/php5/maxlifetime ] [ -d /var/lib/php5 ] find
/var/lib/php5/ -type f
I'm experiencing the same thing - most vexing... Have attached my syslog
for the time-period related.
