You can close this bug off. It appears to be an interoperability issue with the package resolvconf that was installed with vpnc. After running sudo apt-get purge;sudo apt-get autoremove this has resolved my issues. ** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid --
