Public bug reported: I was using UbuntuStudio 23.10 with no issues. When I updated to 24.04, on my first boot of the new OS, the system hung with a black screen just before the login screen. I completely deleted the original image, reinstalled UbuntuStudio 24.04, and tried again. It worked until I installed Steam, then I had the same issue. I deleted and tried again with Kubuntu 24.04. It worked the first time, but failed when I installed wine. I then found a bug report with what seemed to be the exact problem, but the bug report requested all people with this issue to file a separate bug report with a kernel log. The kernel log is attached.
