Just a quick update: the fix is now in git-gui, which apparently is
hosted seperatly, so when they merge with git-core the fix will be here.

I sent the .diff file to git mailing list with [PATCH] prefix in
subject, so I guess that will make it in Upstream version.

hi i fixed typo in precise branch, merge from git/dejan branch. here i
