Sorry i wasn't clear about that. I am able to login with gdm3 with user
frans as expected. But next i am getting a Desktop without any Gnome
controls. I still can move the mouse over two screens. But even clicking
on the mouse buttons, doesn't show up any menu, to open up a terminal
for example.

True it does not cp boolean.so into python2.5/site-
packages/_xmlplus/utils/.
And it does not cp pyexpat.so and sgmlop.so into python2.5/site-
packages/_xmlplus/parsers/.
Or let me say the python2.5/site-packages/_xmlplus directory does not
exists at all. The directory
But if I am well, /usr/lib/python2.5/site-
packages/_xmlplus/utils/boolean.so is in python-xml. Do you really need
a ln ?
