Facebook chat in Empathy now fails with a Network Error, where the
same account settings worked perfectly fine in 10.04.
I did a tcpdump, and all that happens is a DNS lookup to _xmpp-
client._tcp.chat.facebook.com, which returns a CNAME to

I just tried this, as /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/marblemouse.conf:

Solution:
Ignore the talk of /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ - if I put a file in there,
my USB keyboard fails to start, so I can't type anything.
Instead, add this to /etc/X11/xorg.conf:

This is really annoying - we had to use xorg.conf settings for Ubuntu 8.xx, a
HAL fdi file for 9.xx and now although the help site says to use udev, it
doesn't work!
Being told to once again use xorg.conf settings, after hal worked *perfectly*,
seems so pointless.

As it's a kernel issue, should the package the bug is attached to be
changed?

I can confirm in Karmic Alpha 4 on AMD64, same spot as the above two

Rhythmbox puts my 'now playing' type of popups in that spot. Quite irritating,
