Bugs, which
Not trying to cause a me too storm or anything, but since I promised
to mention more exactly for how long it uses my CPU I'll add yet another
comment. On AMD 3700+ it uses maximum resources for 40-60s. The
situation is better now than in Jaunty where it would consume resources
on almost every boot

I've used Karmic Beta to play a little bit more with my VX-1000 and I've
actually got a couple of images of myself :) Motion works and 1 of 10 (or
something) images taken is actually showing my entire face and not just parts
of it.
This is in Virtualbox 3.0.6 in a Jaunty host with 2.6.30.5

Screensaver doesn't stop with a Logitech Wirless RX650 mouse on Karmic Koala
Nope it just doesn't work anymore. It worked with kernel 2.6.29.x in Jaunty :(
Right now I'm sitting in Karmic Koala daily 12.08.09.

Since VLC 0.9.8a worked in Windows, but version 0.9.9a did not work in
Ubuntu while 1.0 did, I guess maybe playing around with settings would
have made the 0.9.9a work as well in Ubuntu. Closed.

Great. Did it work with VLC version 0.9.9a-2ubuntu1 or with VLC 1.0 from
the PPA ?

Are you still affected by this issue?
If you are, and you upgrade through
https://launchpad.net/~c-korn/+archive/vlc to latest 1.0.0 version. Do
you still have this issue?
