Hi, Recently I downloaded the file for my mum's Canon iP4600 printer and installed it. It worked after the install, and we restarted Ubuntu so that I could see it working after a restart and it appeared to be ok. Trouble started the following day when after an update the printer decided it

Colin, Thanks for answering, the printer is brand new and has only printed about 10 pages. I bought my mum a new pc (and put Ubuntu on it) and a new canon printer, to be honest I don't think it's the cartridges. It's a good point and something that is often missed (especially with my mum!)
