This bug dramatically affects the usability of ubuntu on ps3. I have a logitech mediaboard pro, which I happily use under ps3's own OS (XMB), and I do not want to use another mouse/keyboard combo when I use my ps3 with ubuntu.
The described workarounds are all cumbersome. Dear development/bug fix team: Please prioritize this bug and fix it.
