On my hp elitebook 6930p refurbished laptop the internal mic is very
quiet when recording. I set the alsamixer settings to full and unmuted
and turned everything up including mic boost volume and still it is very
quiet when recording. I have the gnome desktop with no effects as my
active desktop

visually impaired people should have a talking accessible ubuntu
