I don't follow? Does this occur when booting from the CD, or when you're

This could easily be done using fuse. I don't believe we will include
this in the kernel because it 1) doesn't seem to be maintained 2)
doesn't enable any non-working hardware 3) is not SMP safe.
This is a good candidate for someone to package out of tree and put in

Hmm. I'm inclined to think this is a network-manager bug. Can you please
attach a full dmesg after a suspend, ps aux | grep ipw3945d after the
suspend, and the output of ifconfig eth1? That should help track down
whether network-manager isn't handling the wakeup properly, or the
kernel isn't
I'm inclined to agree with you Ben, this does seem like a bug in the
userspace tools. Especially since it doesn't appear that anything
changes.
Vincent, can you clarify that to replicate, there must be a fsck on the
next reboot? If you don't force a fsck, does the filesystem remount
alright? Does
Ben, the only time you'll see the REBOOT LINUX message is when the
filesystem is already mounted as /, since init is running there and,
well, remounting properly would be tricky I imagine. This is mostly
speculation, but makes sense from the bits of code I just read.

so without your help, it's just going to get ignored since I don't have
