The problem still exist on 8.10
To reproduce:
Open Login Window Preferences in System-Administration
Choose tab Security and press Configure X Server
Press on Add/Modify and choose server to be Chooser and press OK
Restart gdm, and login on standard gdm-session
When switching user with FUSA the

Binary package hint: fast-user-switch-applet
When using gdm with one Standard login and one Chooser and try to change
to a new user the screen is changing to the one with the chooser and not
a new gdm login screen.
This is making FUSA unusable to change to new users.
