I confirm that /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/general/disable_indicator do
not work on fresh install of 10.10 (with apt-get update).
If you have a workaround to remove indicators at all - please provide.

Same issue on karmic, kernel 2.6.31-15-generic. System is up-to-date. Hardware
is Sony Vaio SZ651.
X process took enormous CPU time and makes browsing in firefox almost
impossible.

Actually, when I submited this bug, I made a copy-paste from this old
bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/8238 .
That's because there is mentioned Computer.
I repeat - I use Ubuntu 9.04 with no custom menu applets.
I can show you screenshot, but be prepared - it is in
Shutdown dialog, after I press Shutdown button from the main menu.

After upgrading to Ubuntu 9.04 from Ubuntu 8.10 I got this issue.
Clicking Shutdown on the computer doesn't shutdown it.
1. Click the Computer meny
2. Click Log Out
3. Select Shut Down
The screen goes blank than it shows me login screen.

After upgrading to Ubuntu 9.04 from Ubuntu 8.10 I got the same issue.
System is up-to-date.
When I press Shutdown button the screen goes blank than it shows me login
screen.
Expected result - computer shutdown.
If I try sudo halt command - it works fine, computer shuts off.
uname -a = Linux
Confirmed, same message from gedit when editing file on cifs mounted partition.
Editing this file in other editors (openoffice) for example is fine.
Ubuntu 7.10, all updates installed.

I'am using Ubuntu 7.10 Beta.
Evolution don't display windows-1251 encoding mails correctly. Setting encoding
manually to 'windows-1251' don't work.
But! Mail source (CTRL+U) is displayed properly.
