Why does the issue still occur with the fix? The severity is lessened

version) and logging back in, I was greeted with an error from my HP
printer drivers saying there is no detected system tray and it's unable
to start (attached).
Discord and MegaSync still appear in the tray so I don't know
I'm running Pop OS 20.04 with this bug, I'd be happy to test this if I
knew how to install the patch. Do I just need to enable proposed
packages?

On further inspection a deauth for reason 2 is because something is
wrong with the encryption secret, I do not change the pass-phrase, only
the spoofed mac.
I'm continuing investigation.

** Description changed:
I'm hoping the dmesg was included with this bug report.
Connecting to a wireless network with my current configuration works
perfectly.
After changing my mac address, trying to connect back to the same
network results in it just sitting there looking like
On further inspection I changed the security of the network to Open. No
filtering of any kind.
It hung for a minute but ended up connecting with a spoofed mac.
In dmesg there is this instead of the deauth reason 2, which is quite
odd: [ 91.553210] wlan0: deauthenticating from 00:1c:df:a2:b9:28
Happens in Fedora too. Must be network manager.

Title:
Bluetooth doesn't work
Is this present in 11.04?
@Taras
A Cold boot should fix the problem. Take out power cable and the
battery.
Wait a minute.
Put em in and you should be good to go. If it happens again, repeat.
