gparted developers and fixed in gparted 0.3.8 release, which has been
upload to ubuntu intrepid 2008-08-01 . Most probably that you simply
updated to that version so the bug isn't reproducible for you. According
to your positive

revision 1363. However, most of changes in this revision does not apply
correctly to current 0.8.2 brasero in intrepid. Would perhaps be a good

Confirming. I get the same bug each time that I install a new linux
kernel and reboot. On first boot, usplash does not appear at all (I only
see the console). If I stop ubuntu loading with sysrec + b, the computer
reboots and now show a wide red corrupted screen instead of usplash, if

caused by usplash but most probably linux kernel, so I'm marking this
bug as a linux kernel bug.
