I noticed it was broken too, but only for FLAC files. It seems to be
related to this bug : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=649474
There was a discussion here about it: http://osdir.com/ml/banshee-

Chromium is affected, too.
I have got a Nvidia Graphic Card (Quadro NVS 285), using NVIDIA Driver
270.41.06, if that helps.

Downgrading to Nvidia Driver 173 (instead of 270) solved the problem.
This definitely is a duplicate of #747717, even if I don't know if that
must be corrected in Nvidia drivers, or in Compiz.
** This bug
Downgrading to 173 version solved the problem for me as well.

Hi,
Maybe it works in Ubuntu 11.04. I don't know. But does it mean that it
won't be corrected in Ubuntu 10.10 ? It's a quite annoying bug, with no
workaround AFAIK.
Regards.

What could we do in order to vote for this feature ? I know a lot of
users (including myself) preferring Thunderbird over Evo on Ubuntu
because of the lack of this feature, and despite the better integration
of Evo. What a pity !
