I assume this is caused by the user defined startup application.
I disabled the login-sound via System - Administration -Login Screen,
but the sound still plays at login.
After disabling / unchecking the 'Gnome Login Sound' System -

I think it is a python-central bug, as I got a apport crash from
python-central.

I'm not able to reproduce this bug anymore. Seems that it only occurs if the
updater and the screensaver are running at the same time.
