Using kernel 5.4.0-65, the system does not wake up anymore from suspend to ram
(S3). The screen stays black, only the backlight comes on.
Following the instructions in "wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend", it
shows that this PCI device is the problem:
00:02.0 VGA
Example.
Start with GS 9.26 installed.
1 Install package ocrfeeder from the Graphics (universe) category (if
not already installed).
2 Run ocrfeeder (desktop menu item OCRFeeder).
3 Select a PDF file to use with File>Import PDF.
4 A pop-up dialog "Loading" appears; after it closes the images
Public bug reported:
Ghostscript 9.50 exhibits bug 701894 (fix the '--' and co options) which
causes (eg) ocrfeeder to fail to load PDF files: an input file specified
using the "... -- filename ..." command line syntax has no read
permission in the GS interpreter.
This commit fixes it:
Same here. I have a masked jpg in an image, it will neither print as a
pdf nor will it be printed on a physical colour printer. Inkscape 1.0.1

You can replicate what I did with Virtualbox using this script:
https://gist.github.com/wedi/cba7465ee8280c0e75f94d2ef024a82e
Probably you'll need to switch from Apple's hdiutil to cloud-localds or similar
to create the seed
Installed in two stages (first OpenMP, then Pthread) verifying that
Rscript -e 'example(solve)'# known example to 'hang' under
openblas-pthread
now works again. Thanks for the fix!
edd@rob:~$ dpkg -l | grep openblas | cut -c -70
ii libopenblas-dev:amd64
Falling back to clipit (1.4.2-1.2) solves the problem.
If clipit will not be fixed (github https://github.com/CristianHenzel/ClipIt
does not show activity) then better deliver old version.

Public bug reported:
In Ubuntu 20.04. the clipit Version 1.4.4+git20190202-1 is broken.
Hotkeys can not be used. No reaction.
The manage history does not work correctly - if the window opens - it freezes.

Seconded. I just edited the two *.list file and hand-removed
/usr/.crates.json to have bat and ripgrep coexist. I really shouldn't
have to.

It appears to be related to the linker option used by Ubuntu but not by
Debian.

Looks like this bug affects the NoCloud provider with a seed file
system. It does work well when downloading the config with nocloud-net.

I found the problem.
There was a directory which led the scripts to think postfix was already
configured.
Sorry for any inconvenience!

I see that it is in the filelist, but it does not get installed.
So, maybe it is a packaging problem.

I tried to work around this bug by preconfiguring everything but ask for

When I run the automated installer I always end up with a fresh system I

Hi all,
I've freshly installed Ubuntu Mate 20.04 on LENOVO_MT_81NX_BU_idea_FM_Yoga
S740-15IRH with the same problem. No sound no speakers. It seems the Realtek
codec driver is not able to configure the speaker for the system.
