On Gutsy my tv-card works fine, on Hardy the image is noisy. I made a
screenshot, see attachment.
I'm using the following card:
01:09.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors
Addition: I discovered that mplayer gives correct tv-output. Only
mplayer, Mythtv also doesn't work. When I scan channels in Mythtv it
gave a no signal result. (even when I scan channes in KdeTV), I added
manually a frequency to test)

Yes, great idea. It's very confusing for beginners. I've never seen a
dutch keyboard
