The installer crashed during installation of Jamulus OS on my Seagate BarraCuda
510 M2 SSD from USB live image. The bug was already reported (3rd party
drivers) but I have some extra hardware info in attached JamulusOS.txt-file if
needed.

I am the author of Sortmail. I swear by the old gods and the new that
dbm is the most unstable library in Unix. I've had to refactor code and
Makefile to accommodate changes to that damn library more than
everything else put together. Integrating ssl was easier than keeping up
with dbm changes.
Cripes. And the community wonders why Linux isn't being accepted in the

I was running different Nvidia graphic cards with different proprietary
Nvidia drivers (see my previous post).
Changed the Nvidia graphic card to an old HD 5670 Radeon AMD and loaded
the catalyst drivers. *Until now no more system hangups has appeared.*

guess that we have passed the eol on it with unity/complz combo.
Today I get a replacement computer with another NVIDIA Card.. And it will

I have the exact same problem with my Quadro NVS 290 - Dual screen at work.
All other computers that is updated worked perfect, but this one is almost
unusable..
Is there any way I can help with a bug report on this?

that was clear, but when comes the patch to the Ubuntu kernel ? With the next
2.6.38.x with x 8 ?
Im able to compile a kernel with the patch and use it on a productive system,
but I didn't wish to do that without any testing environment to find other for
me unknown dependencies
