Hmm.
flashplugin-installer actually shows as a hard dependency of
flashplugin-nonfree on my system (aptitude show flashplugin-nonfree), so
installer was installed automatically.
Anyway, I uninstalled them both and this made U1MS work (having first
checked that it was still crashing after today's

Never done any suspend/resuming actually, it's a desktop machine. I can
certainly try. Do you want suspend-to-ram, suspend-to-disk or both?

The dialog in question is gnome-appearance-properties. when run from the
terminal the output is as attached (stdout). I would imagine that the
