Since I upgraded to Kubuntu 08.10beta every time it upgrades the kernel and
the next time I reboot I get Python problems,(see bug reports). I'm also
having problems with the KDE desktop(compiz???) crashing
this or some other bug

so far I haven't had anymore crashes after the initial web update to 08.10b
from 08.04.1 (KDE Resources needed installing the grub boot loader needed
rewriting, I also upgraded to Python 3) what Ive already posted. Switching
of desktop effects seemed to solve my other

Ive solved my problem, it was a case of reinstalling KDE Resources Python.
now everything seams to be working OK

Well what ever it is my system is working quite well now, no crashes on
start up, (not showing last good boot in grub though)
Still having a little problem with the graphics, empty boxes where the
close, minimize and full screen icons should be.
