hummm this is even worst... I desinstalled the icedtea6-plugin
I put deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner into synaptic
I can now install the sun-java6-plugin
but now thunderbird don't display any error message but lightning don't load
I tried to re-install lightning... the only
hu ok It's fixed now I re-installed lightning using the official
mozilla plugin and it now works!

refresh package list
uninstall all lightning-plugin related package in synaptic (shall be the only
choice)
uninstall all google provider related package in synaptic (shall be the only
choice)
